They are very comfortable without needing to be worn outside. I wear a size 41/42 and you are requesting a 42, which fits me well and I have a little extra room, so I believe a 41 would be too small. They are soft on the heels and ankles and the insoles are comfortable. The closures function correctly, but the longevity remains to be seen. I will update this review after wearing them multiple times.
